Vocals – A native of Texas, T Charles’ southern roots help to define his soul-stirring, powerful, energetic voice and these influences have played a major role throughout his vocal career. He has experience singing many different styles ranging from gospel to country. He has opened for many and performed all over the US with legends such as Otis Clay, Willie Rogers (of The Soul Stirrers) and also local greats such as Chic Rogers. Whether the path leads him to host or co-host for diverse radio stations, perform in concerts (such as the 2010 Jazz Fest in New Orleans), or on the stage of local venues such as Rosa’s blues club, The Checkerboard and The House of Blues, T Charles credits his passion to his gospel roots.
