Michael Morrison
Bass – Never missing a note, Michael Morrison is the quintessential bass guitar player and is a key element of the band’s powerful rhythm section. An experienced bluesman who has seen and done it all, Michael started in the style of Motown’s late, great James Jamerson and evolved into a love of classic rock. Michael’s musical resume is vast and is a who’s who of Rock and Roll. He has recorded with Buddy Guy on “DJ Play My Blues”, was featured alongside blues legend Willie Dixon in the documentary DVD “I Am The Blues”, opened for Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page and Robert Plant as a member of the James Cotton Blues Band and shared the stage with Chuck Berry. Other recording credits include “Bad Luck Boy” with Phil Guy, “Live In Europe” with Luther Allison, “Junk Food” with AC Reed and “Blue Steel – A Tribute To Elmore James”. Michael has also toured Europe extensively with John Primer, an ex-guitarist of the late Father of Chicago Blues, Muddy Waters.
